Black, thin tn head. Coffee, winey aroma, coffee winey flavor...Well, that’s really too simple. The wine really imparts a nice tannic flavor, and hides the sweetness in this beer. I liked the way it starts off as a regular stout, the dries out as you finish it. Really good, the wine flavors really take to the stout - or do the stout flavors really take to the wine? either way, I’d like to see this again. From a growler at Bearden Beer Market.
