Sampled from bottle @ THT November. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Aroma is pretty grainy, don’t get anything else. Tastes very malty and grainy as well with a slight hint of sweetness and nuts. Average body and carbonation. I don’t like it.

Copper pour with a quick fading eggshell head. Toffee and nuts on the nose with a little cooked fruit. Mostly the same on the palate but less well defined. Finishes slightly sweet with a little earthy note.

Fiche technique Style: Scottish Ale Format: 650 ml Taux d?alcool: 5,4%

675 ml. Aroma of toffee and roasted malts. Taste of bitter hops. Appearance is amber with white head. Overall: great ale from a small town.

650ml bottle pours amber in color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some light smoke. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a herbal bitterness and a light smoky finish. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A decent brew for the style, but there are better ones out there.
