650 ml bottle from LCBO. Nice enough, drinkable beer. Nothing extraordinary, however. Nice dark brown ale, with very little head and light carbonation. Very watery mouthfeel, and malty in flavour. I liked it, but no more or less than many other examples of ales out there. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 9, 2013
500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a deep amber colour with no head. Creamy mouthfeel, but medium body. Aroma is malts. Taste is bread, caramel, malts. Interesting.

Pours clear, light amber with a minimal tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, slight caramel, slight fruity esters. Malty up front, with some caramel and toast, surprisingly clean finish with a touch of hops. Medium body. Some smoke and/or wood in the finish. Really quite nice! bottle. Poured clear deep amber with no head. Very subdued aroma, malty with notes of brown sugar. Thick but creamy mouthfeel, medium body with just a touch dry finish. Flavour is sweet and bready, caramel malt with a roasted note. A really nice session. jkwalking05 (4740) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 5, 2013
Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Amber in color with an average sized off-white. Aroma is of floral notes, honey and styrofoam. Taste is of malt and bitter floral hops.

Pours iced tea dark with a bubbly cap that fades. A tasty beer that’s complex & fun. Taste is a little hard on the brown sugar & a little soft on the bitterness. Another winner from south river. DuffMan (10435) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 19, 2013
What a strange little brewery-- their website says they make three different beers, but Ratebeer lists only one. This poured a dusky gold with a very foamy thick off white crown. Muted aroma of bready malts with a slightly brothy quality. Sweet caramel flavour, pretty simple really. Not sure what they were striving for here, but this plays as a pretty unremarkable amber ale. gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Light brown pour with lots of lacy head. Don’t really smell much off this one. Nice and warm. Very smooth. Creamy. I haven’t had a beer this creamy is nice Cafferys. A touch of hops, some sweet malts and caramel. Nice. fsquirrel29 (90) - Michigan, USA - MAR 5, 2013
A very nice beer. Not great, but not bad either. I like Scottish ales, but this one is a little lighter and less alcohol than I usually like. But still good. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Bottle thanks to blutt59. The smell is caramel, cereal, hops, and sweet. The look is copper, clear, and has an off white head. The taste is malts, cereal, caramel, and ok.
