Draft - Toffee and some twig. Clearish Amber with a decent white head. Lots of caramel and soft grains with a touch of cocoa. Solid. Benzai (15711) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2014
Sampled from bottle @ THT November. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Aroma is pretty grainy, don’t get anything else. Tastes very malty and grainy as well with a slight hint of sweetness and nuts. Average body and carbonation. I don’t like it. Lubiere (13941) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2012
A nice copper amber ale with a thin creamy compact mocha head. In aroma, decent butterscotch malt and caramel, woody maple. In mouth, a sweet maple and butterscotch malt with faint grassy hops, oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, a tad too sweet but decent. However, this listing should be re-listed under the new name, Scottish Ale... kermis (13661) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2014
Bottle shared. Pours clear brown with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2010

2009-01-13. Dark amber/copper body with a modest white head. 3+ Strange aroma, tropical fruit oddness. It is not unpleasant but a bit bizarre. 6+ (Greg says winegums, which I can see.) Flavour is similar, odd fruity character like that of the aroma, mild malt core. Light bitterness. 6+ Average palate. Okay. Pleasant enough albeit a bit odd. I suspect that its not 100% but considering its practically fresh from the brewery it shouldn’t have changed much. Curious. What a strange little brewery-- their website says they make three different beers, but Ratebeer lists only one. This poured a dusky gold with a very foamy thick off white crown. Muted aroma of bready malts with a slightly brothy quality. Sweet caramel flavour, pretty simple really. Not sure what they were striving for here, but this plays as a pretty unremarkable amber ale. deanso (10150) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - NOV 28, 2014

Thin creamy white head. Light amber pour. An ok beer JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2012
500 ml bottle from LCBO. Deep amber pour with a thin head. Lots of sweet caramel along with a bit of soft sweet fruity hoppiness. There’s a touch of sweetness and some light fruit. A lot of toasted caramel malt. Decent pale ale - even if it’s got too much caramel malt. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 13, 2010
[2690-20100113] 500mL bottle. Mild grainy floral toffee-like dead leaf flowers aroma. Clear, rich amber body with a quick foamy white head. More floral toffee grains in the flavour. Medium body. Drinkable but quite odd.
