On tap at Highlands Hollow Boise, Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a off white head. Nice light hop aroma on this one. Tast of malts, hops, and a little sweet. Just a little bitter at the end but not much. jake65 (3982) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - DEC 14, 2006
On Tap: Darker amber pour with a medium whitish head and tons of lacing. Lots of floral and citrus hops up front. Taste is hoppy with a blend of sweet from fruit and malts. Nice lingering hops finish. pinkzambia (2069) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 19, 2006
Tap at Brewpub: Clear dark amber color with red tints and small tan bubbles on top, but not quite a head. It has a typical sweet hop aroma with a bitter floral hoppy taste. I was expecting a bit more of an IPA on this one. It didn’t seem hoppy enough and almost a little too rich, but still pretty good. IndianaRed (4933) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 9, 2005
Tap Dark redish brown with medium off white head. Aroma was sweet hops and deep fairly dark malts. Flavor was quite robust for the stlye. dark malts and sweet spicy notes as well. Smokey, roasted grains, spicy. Interesting profile. Palate was also quite heavy and full bodied. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter but not offensive.
I liked this one as well. Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 10, 2005
Mayogany with a creamy off white head. Nice thick lace. Sweet flowery hops in the nose. Citrus and bittering hops are apparent as well. Caramel malts show up. Wow! There’s no hiding the bitternes or the alcohol. There’s a sopiness at the tail of all that bitterness.

Dark amber color with a big tan head. Moderate bitterness, with an oily film of hop flavor throughout... pine and bubble gum hop sting with a similar aroma... sweet hops all around, I’m digging this one. Semi-dry finish. baobubba (454) - Starkville, Mississippi, USA - SEP 16, 2003
Hazy dark amber with a thin white to off-white head. I really like the caramel apple aroma that is chock full of sticky dark caramels and toasted marshmallows with just a slight bite of hops. Toast on the finish nad moderate bitterness. Not as complex as a great brew, but pretty damn good. I would drink this nearly everyday if I lived in Boise. Hazy dark red color, looks much like the imperial ipa I made. Lots of color, head and lacing. Aroma is very floral and sweet with a touch of strawberry, caramel and chocolate. Large hop profile in the flavor, clean and fresh. I really like this IPA, it devoured the spiciness of the soup I was having. Dry and bitter finish as expected. Medium-large body due to the large amount of specialty malts that went into this one. Overall this is one of the better offerings from this place. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2003
Ah, finally the saving grace of this establishments beer. A very tasty, not overly hoppy and nicely balanced APA. The malts are very sweet and compliment the hops throughout. Not complex at all, just a straight ahead, APA, that is very enjoyable.
