Rich, full-bodied and powerful... hmmmmm? Maybe I should've called this "Yuppy Shake!" Huge hoppy rates help balance the malty alcohol flavor of this high-octane brew – a flashback in a glass.

Dark amber color with a big tan head. Moderate bitterness, with an oily film of hop flavor throughout... pine and bubble gum hop sting with a similar aroma... sweet hops all around, I’m digging this one. Semi-dry finish.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - SEP 6, 2003
Hazy dark red color, looks much like the imperial ipa I made. Lots of color, head and lacing. Aroma is very floral and sweet with a touch of strawberry, caramel and chocolate. Large hop profile in the flavor, clean and fresh. I really like this IPA, it devoured the spiciness of the soup I was having. Dry and bitter finish as expected. Medium-large body due to the large amount of specialty malts that went into this one. Overall this is one of the better offerings from this place.
