Twisted Twin is a DIPA inspired by the North American Region Pacific Northwest. The region includes the scenic Canadian province of British Columbia and the multifaceted U.S. states of Washington and Oregon. We remember and long for the hop gardens around fabulous Seattle, the views around the vibrant Vancouver as well Portland’s indie scene. With this brew we’re celebrating the wonderful Pacific Ocean that constantly makes us remember the meetings and experiences we shared.

"Constantly loud and in an never-neverending motion, with an eye filled peace and harmony"

A west coast beer with medium crown, lightly yellowish. The aroma has strong hints of tropical fruits like mango and peach with balanced tones of both hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, juniper, spices and citrus fruits and leads to a moderately bitter ending. A very fresh beer.

This is the Twisted Twin from Höganäs Bryggeri. It’s a Double IPA at 7.2% ABV and 72 IBUs. The beer pours out bright orange, slightly hazy, with a big white head. The aroma is bursting with citrusy notes! Intense grapefruit and orange peel. It smells great! The first thing I noticed is that the beer is so smooth and creamy! The mouthfeel is great! The taste is really fruity; mango, papaya, grapefruit, pineapple. And the aftertaste is all bittersweet grapefruit. This beer really took me by surprise! It’s one helluva fruit bomb with a decent bitterness and a great mouthfeel. Everything is just right in this beer!

The beer is somewhat obscure and dark yellow color. The foam is white with medium bubbles that come in fine just the right amounts. The foam disappears in good pace and leaving little trace. The aroma has some malt sweetness and hop character. Scents of mango, peach and orange. Some dried fruits and a little pine tree and grass. Pretty good in aroma with nice balance. The flavor displays a bit more hops with some malt sweetness. Here are some mangoes, citrus, peach, apricots and a little orange. A little caramel and fresh herbs with a bit of grass and pine tonnes. The flavor goes about it a little easier way with a suitably marked bitterness. A little dry finish, with a good balance. Medium rich body. Good carbonic acid, a little malt sweetness Moderate marked bitterness at the end a little dry

Zapach dosyć intensywny, owoce tropikalne, brzoskwinie, mango, nafta, cytrusy. Kolor pomarańczowy, mętne. Piana średnio obfita, drobna, średnio trwała, zdobi szkło. W smaku lekka słodycz, średnia pełnia, owoce, brzoskwinie, mango, cytrusy, siano. Goryczka średnia, wysycenie niskie.

Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Sweet malt, ripe fruits, fresh hoppy aromas. Taste is crisp and sweet, ripe fruits, citrus hops and some caramel from the malt. Really balanced and fresh, easy to drink. Imperial IPA is a stretch - somewhere between an Imperial and regular IPA.

Fin beska i avslutningen. Lätt för att vara en dubbel-IPA. Modest i både smak, storlek och beska, men gör det snyggt.

15-APR-2016, bottle @home, brought by Morten, thx.:-) Hazy orange with a lasting, lacing, high off-white head. Fruity hops, sweet, a touch of dusty hops and Herbs. Creamy. Nice.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20160416) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, orange, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy brew.
