COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Anna (1902 - ? ) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Honey Saison is crafted from American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna. 6.5% ALC/VOL 14º P Ingredients: Pale Malt, American and European Hops, Vermont Wildflower Honey, Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Słodki dosyć, kwiatowy aromat. Mega rustykalne, brettowe, skórzaste. Znów subtelna, elegancka, cudna kwasowość. Wyśmienite piwo.

Sampel na panelu w chmielarni na Marszałkowskiej. W aromacie bretty, kwiaty i słodycz, pięknie pachnie. Smak naprawdę leciutko kwaśny, wytrawny ale z lekką słodyczą i kremowością. Super.

Pours a golden color with a carbonated white foam head. The aroma is of sour dough, grains, sugar, floral hops, lemon, and yeast. Tasting had a tart and sweet bread taste. There was a clean but simple bitterness. The yeast had a noticeable lemon saison like taste. Overall this brew is very flavorful, drinkable, and had a pleasant bitterness.

Bottle at RBBest. Pours pale yellow. Aroma is light vinegar, honey. Body continues like that, tart, sour and crisp. Some vinegar again, with a medium flowery palate.

Bottle at 2017 Ratebeer Best. Pours clear, bright gold. White head. Mild aroma suggesting apple. Flavor is mild sour, almost acidic. It’s a little citrus for me. Very smooth and light funk. Quite delicious.

750ml bottle @ Alex’s. Bottled 2016.02
Pours a hazy golden yellow colour with a small off-white head. Nose is light brett with a wet grass and some citrus notes. Flavour is light zesty lemon which lends to the light sourness and tartness. In the after taste I get some trace amounts of honey.

Sergey’s hunt; bottled 2016 02 2x (cut)
Hazy blond color, medium head. The aroma is deep, manure, citrus peel. Smooth mouthfeel, rather dry; it has a good blend of spicy yeast and orange peel, with a white wine sourness in the final, and not even much astringent.
Excellent.
