375ml bottle poured into a Cantillon tulip taster.
A~ dark with a copper syrup like undertone around the edges. hardly any head and no lacing.
S~ bourbon up front, vanilla, oak and caramel up front. followed by some sweet syrup, ending with burnt coffee and roasty malts. the perfect combination for a perfect stout!
T~ wowww! follows the nose perfectly with more maple syrup! nothing wrong with that! tiny bit of heat on the back end which actually adds to it! dat bourbon burn!
M~ sooo smooth, exactly where i like the carbonation for a stout despite the appearance. leaves a nice sticky feel as well, also surprisingly refreshing!
O~ its hard to even let this warm up, its so good! i could seriously drink this all day! which is obviously very unusual for a stout like this. the maple presence is just out standing! dare i say it? way better than CBS HA! Korcz (3372) - Warsaw, POLAND - FEB 4, 2017

Taste is very sweet, smooth roasted bitterness, slight warming alcohol. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, smooth creamy texture. Sweet and decadent with an amazing balance.
(Sample on tap @ Warpigs HF Day, Copenhagen, May 12 2016) Pours black with a small tan head and no lace. Aroma of bourbon, molasses, sweet chocolate, lots of maple, toasted coconut and raw sugar, quite sweet overall. Palate is chocolate and maple syrup-forward, with oak, moderate bourbon notes, and a bit of roasted grain and coffee grounds helping to dry out the finish. Full but soft and smooth in the mouth, with light carbonation and little alcohol heat. Big rich fudge-like dessert stout but not so hard to drink, lovely.
