750ml growler poured into a Grimm tulip

A~ light brownish/yellow, with a nice head and a bit of lacing.

S~ vomity, earthy, grass. bland and weird...

T~ dry, bland green tea that was spilled on a pine tree then juiced haha! but yeah not too much going on, maybe i just don’t like cascade?

M~ refreshing for sure! nice carb too!

O~ this may just not be my thing. could be the hop... very surprising though! still very drinkable though and better than most =]

750 mL growler poured into a wine glass. Originally reviewed 5/12/2015.
Hazy orange body. Big white head with lots of lacing.
Orange, grapefruit. Just a touch of grass. A touch of sweetness.

Big grapefruit hop taste. Some cracker malt. Strong bitterness takes over quickly. Just a little bit of sweetness.
Medium body. Well carbonated.
I don’t think Cascade has the best hop profile for a single hop, but this is very well made.

Growler at James’ 10k tasting. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin white head. Musky dusty yeast and citrus on the nose. Medium bodied, soft musk. Soft musk and citrus on the finish.

BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2015
On tap at Prohibition Pig. Found this to be a pretty mediocre pale ale-but definitely not bad by any means-and had some strange flavors in the finish with little hop notes and more malty than expected from HF. An unusual miss here, but maybe the keg was funky, and yet still worth a solid 3.5 score.
