COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clara (1906-1969) was our grandfathers sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Grisette is crafted from American malted barley, Vermont Organic Wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Clara. 4% ALC/VOL 9 P Ingredients: Pale Malt, Organic Vermont Wheat, American and European Hops, Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a big foamy white head. Aromas of the typical HF yeast strand, funk, some cherry, and hay. Flavor had lemon, cherry, tons of grain, funk, straw, yeast, spice. Light body and a sticky texture to it. Carbonation was pretty high and the finish was smooth and easy.

markextrae (4125) - Alingss, SWEDEN - NOV 24, 2015
bottle shared by a friend. poured a murky hazy dark golden to light orange colour with a nice fluffy hill farm head on top. nose has some funky influences in there, combined with your typical hill farmstead yeast. lots of wheats and grains in there, refreshing citrus, pale crisp malts, and some slight spice pepper yeast. clean crispy mouthfeel. but im getting a bit to much wheat in there. cut grass, and juicy lemon apples, mouthfeel is perfectly carbonated, with a nice crisp mouthfeel. this is just a saison, have no ideaa why this is linked to a tradionial ale
