Holy citrus! And as dank as can be. Upon opening the growler there is a pungent aroma of grapefruit/citrus and hops. The pungent smell is followed right up with the taste. This beer rivals them all and in my personal opinion beats out my long time favorite heady topper. andrewjames78 (4) - Underhill, Vermont, USA - NOV 21, 2013 does not count
This beer is not quite as complex as the Abner or Heady Topper but my gawd it’s delicious. If you like citrus tasting IPA’s then you may find this one to be the best you’ve ever had! rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Growler thanks to my man, Corey! Hazy orange pour with a frothy white head that leaves layers of lace. Massive, bright tropical citrus, grapefruit, pineapple aroma coming out of the growler before I even pour it and it just grows as it’s being poured. Flavor is juicy citrus throughout with great balance without being noticeably sweet. Clean, medium bodied and a bitter finish. Absolutely fantastic. mjhall89 (36) - - JUN 19, 2014
Very very solid beer. Light balanced citrus aroma. Hoppy Citrus and sweet initial taste that fades away on the palate very nicely. You can drink a ton of this but you don’t because the taste is to be savored. Just a perfectly balanced beer. This is up there with Boneyard dipa in quality of taste. Tap at Hill Farmstead. Hazed banana peel pour, large white head. Intense tropical fruit aromas. Really complex and stimulating/deep nose, probably the nicest smelling beer I’ve ever had. Taste is semi sweet and lightly bitter. Flavors of straight up tropical hop fruit juice. Never before have I tasted such a beautiful expression of a single hop. Amazing. Best dipa I’ve ever had.

Growler pour courtesy of Vinny. Pours literally glowing honey mustard yellow with a tasteful, smooth white head. Lacing is clean and spotty. Aroma is pineapple and orange zest. Taste is full of pineapple, orange, lemon, and some clean resin in the finish. Juicy upfront transitioning to pleasantly dry in the finish. This beer is fucking superb; inspired, elegant, and wonderful. Beautiful IPA.

amazing nose which spoke of its taste prior to drinking, hazy farmstyle beer which likely exceeds IBU which can be determined by a human, life changing brew Franckg (1619) - Trois-Rivières, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2015
Location: Pour from a two litter Hill Farmstead growler I just picked up at the brewery, 7/7/15
Aroma: The aroma is full of bright tropical and citrus hops, peach, mango, floral notes, and some light malt. Amazing. It really just hits all the marks of a tropical forward, hoppy beer.
Appearance: From the bulbous growler it pours a murky looking bright (like almost highlighter level) orange with a thick, frothy, white head and some lace that pretty much coats the glass.
Flavor: This one drinks really nicely with a strong tropical/fruity hop flavor, great balance. The hops shine through here with just a right on mix of the bitterness and the sweetness.
Palate: Medium-plus bodied, with a smooth, creamy feel, soft carbonation, and a clean, dry finish.
This is one of those beer that the more I drink the more I like. From the sample at the brewery, I thought this was my favorite of their excellent beers that were pouring that day, but I’ve had a good 2+ glasses of it at this point, and know I know, this beer is an absolute knockout. The brightness of the fruity hops, the perfect cleanness of the bitterness, the smoothness of the mouthfeel, everything here is just right on. Seriously, for anyone who wonders if it’s worth driving out to the middle of fucking nowhere to get their beers, my answer is yes.
