UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 On draft at Capones. Pours a deep orange caramel with a small off white head. Aroma of fresh citra hops and grapefruit. Taste is bitter and much the same as the aroma. Excellent. 6/14/2014 750 ml growler. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a large foamy white head.

Draft at Capone’s during PBW summer 2011. Poured hazy coppery orange with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, big mangoey resiny hops. Tasted complex, heavily IBU-laden, with that awesome crisp peppery fruity Citra hop just juicing all over the palate. This beer was excellent.

Sampled at the brewery and now drinking a growler I brought home, poured right into my brand new Hill Farmstead glass. Pours deep hazy yellow/golden, can’t see through it, with a big creamy white head on top. Aroma is lots of grass and hay mixed in with both tropical and citrus fruits. Aggressive in the bitter hop notes, and this shows in the flavor as well. But as it warms it takes on a pineapple flavor alongside hay, grass, mango, and lots and lots of citrus. Dry body, very drinkable, slightly creamy, and really nice. Another winner from these guys.

Tasted from draft. Pours a cloudy yellow with nice white head. Phenomenal nose. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and a little orange. Taste is moderately bitter with a nice malt backbone. A little more bitterness on this then some of the other Hill Farmstead IPAs as well as not as creamy a mouthfeel as some. Flavors of citrus and tropical fruits with some pine and cracker malt notes. Definitely one of the best imperial IPAs I've had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

July 17, 2015. On tap at Farmhouse Tap & Grill.
Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is intense fruity and light dank with ripe juicy orange, grapefruit, some mango and pineapple, hints of pine and very light malty grain notes. Taste is medium sweet, juicy, soft bitter. Finish is smooth, creamy, lots of juicy oranges, mango, pawpaw, soft bitterness with just a hint of citrus pith. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Amazing, so juicy and drinkable!

Got in a BIF from Roguer. 750 ml swing top growler into signature tulip glass, best before 3/25/2017. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Awesome webby soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slight dryness from lingering bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly silky/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight resin/rinds near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a world class DIPA! All around insane complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, thanks to the smooth/mellow bitterness. Super dank, juicy, and vibrant on hop flavors; great malt balance without feeling sweet or heavy for the ABV. An absolutely mind blowing offering.
