Tasted from draft. Pours a cloudy yellow with nice white head. Phenomenal nose. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and a little orange. Taste is moderately bitter with a nice malt backbone. A little more bitterness on this then some of the other Hill Farmstead IPAs as well as not as creamy a mouthfeel as some. Flavors of citrus and tropical fruits with some pine and cracker malt notes. Definitely one of the best imperial IPAs I've had.

Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is intense fruity and light dank with ripe juicy orange, grapefruit, some mango and pineapple, hints of pine and very light malty grain notes. Taste is medium sweet, juicy, soft bitter. Finish is smooth, creamy, lots of juicy oranges, mango, pawpaw, soft bitterness with just a hint of citrus pith. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Amazing, so juicy and drinkable!

Got in a BIF from Roguer. 750 ml swing top growler into signature tulip glass, best before 3/25/2017. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Awesome webby soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slight dryness from lingering bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly silky/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight resin/rinds near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a world class DIPA! All around insane complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, thanks to the smooth/mellow bitterness. Super dank, juicy, and vibrant on hop flavors; great malt balance without feeling sweet or heavy for the ABV. An absolutely mind blowing offering. oteyj (2138) - New Hampshire, USA - MAY 30, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2012 On tap at Hill Farmsteads first anniversary celebration. Hazy golden pour with a massive white head. The nose held every type of citrus incarnation ever imagined. Orange, orangepeel, lemon, lemon peel, and grapefruit. A nice floral resin complemented this nicely. The flavor held the same citrus onslaught, with a light caramel malt that provided excellent balance. Dankly thick palate with a resinous finish.

Pours a hazy pumpkin orange, with medium head, and great, sporadic lacing throughout. Aromas of grapefruit, honey, pineapple, vanilla, white oak. Taste is some of the creamiest, and juiciest collection of hops, malts, and caramel. Absolutely amazing. Tons of citrus flavors mixed in with a nice malt sweetness. It Kind of reminded me of a jucier mongo or hop 15. Great beer, Cheers to Sean Hill. czar (9430) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 5, 2011

Hazy golden orange color, moderate white head. Grapefruit, orange, peach, mango, and grass. Initial sweetness balanced by mild hop bitterness that lingers briefly. Crisp, light-bodied, and refreshing. Small alcohol presence that is more an afterthought. EamonTheGreat (164) - USA - JUN 25, 2014
Got this growler via trade. First Hill Farmstead beer ever!! Pours hazy golden with a medium head a good lacing. Quality piney hop aroma with slight hints of citrus. The taste is wonderfully smooth with piney citrus flavors shining through. The mouth feel is somewhat creamy and leaves a great hop taste on the palate. A wonderful IPA that is incredibly smooth and refreshing. Can't wait to visit the brewery!
