Bronze to orange hazy pour with a single finger head. Lots of lace. Aroma is very peachy along with some orange zest. Taste is full of citrus and is very easy drinking. Very well balanced. Lingering bitterness is not too intense. Medium body. kraddel (8575) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2017

Rating #2518 - 2016.05.04 - Hill Farmstead/Jolly Pumpkin tap takeover at Bru in Philly. Golden pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is mild sweet tropical goodness. Taste is a melange of citrus and pine tempered by an explosion of bitterness, drying out the finish, but leaving the palate demanding another sip. Balanced and exquisite. On draft in Brattleboro. Pours a light hazy and golden. A light fluffy and dissipating head. Hoppy on the nose but not overly bitter on the palate.

On tap at Torst. My namesake beer. Light golden hazy beer with a soft medium white foam head. Nose is tangerine, clementine, orange, grapefruit, peach, pale husky barley grains, lightly toasted malt. Taste is tangerine, slightly tangy bitter citrons peel, light toasted cereal grains, peach. Very tasty. skrip (223) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 2, 2017
750ml growler poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass.
A~ glowing copper with minimal head and lots of lacing.
S~ a crazy amount of earthy pine, and lots of citrus. mostly grapefruit.
T~ very crisp right off the bat. pretty much just like the nose, lots of pine and citrus followed by a crazy bitter hop finish.
M~ perfect carbonation, and a dry finish. yet still very refreshing.
O~ very nice pale! now that i’ve had a good amount of HF hoppy stuff, this is definitely up there! once again Pales/IPA’s have always been a summer thing to me and this is another one i could drink all summer. way too kill it again Shaun. wombat23 (1621) - Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2017

Draft. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately to heavily hoppy (peach, melon, apricot), lightly yeasty (dough), with light notes of honey and gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
It’s really a shame about the sourness, because otherwise this could be a really nice beer...the fruity hop character is quite nice. The brewer just seems to like sour beer in general, even in styles that aren’t typically sour. And sadly I’m not a sourhead. It’s not all the way to Jolly Pumpkin / Fantome everything-is-infected status, but it has become abundantly clear that Mr. Hill’s decidedly New World take on everything just doesn’t jive with my Old World tastes. jrodooo5 (1688) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Bitter American pale with kind of a dry finish. It pours nicely & has a good hop aroma. Good!
