Pours a orange, cloude, uicy, white head. Looks like juice. Aroma is very citrusy, lemon, sweet orange, hop juice, tree sap, pine. Taste is orange, lemon, bitter, hoppy, no alcohol, grapefuit, juicy, little pine, sweet malts. One of the best DIPAs Iäve every had! So awesome! Had to have two glasses of this! Growler. Trade with Xerenthar. Thanks. Pours hazy orange with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is tropical fruity hops. Flavor is extremely fruity. Mango, pineapple, clementine and oranges. Holy ish. Fruit salad/Fruit Punch. Bitter and dry with hardly any alcohol showing. Intense and very tasty beer. GMCC2181 (1611) - Newark, Delaware, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Draft at Cambridge... Good looking brew, light colored orange with a slight yellow tint. Decent head that faded fast. Nice nose of grass, fruity notes, and pine. Taste is delicious.... Light bitterness but tons of hops... Pine, mango, tree sap, grass, hay, fruity with out one flavor dominating... Some yeast flavor and a malt body to keep it balanced. Crisp and really light for a DIPA. The alcohol is so well hidden. Scary that this is so tasty and drinkable.... Overall: Great beer.... really enjoyed this! drsandman (1480) - New York, USA - APR 14, 2014
4.11.14 @ the source. (Note: ABV on this batch was 9.6%, prior Ephraim’s have been a bit higher (10.3%)... Shaun + employees mentioned folks have been raving about this recent batch.) Pours clearer orange than your average HFS IPA/DIPA/IIPA, standard white head. Aroma is huge passionfruit, mango, pineapple, citrus, super dank hops. Straight up tastes like a candy, citrus/pineapple/tropical fruit mixed with piney hops, faint malt, then more citrus. Light booze on the back end but really ridiculously smooth for ABV. Incredible, home run.. HFS at their best. djd07 (15107) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 15, 2014
Growler thanks to Will. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is strong fruity hop, citrus, and pine. Thick mouthfeel with nice dry hop, bitter malt, so good. Really enjoyed this one.

Growler from HF.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a semi-hazy almost burnt orange color with a thin wisp of a white head that quickly dissipated. Light bubbles of broken head float around the top. Light wispy lacing.
The smell takes in sweet danky onion sliding on into through resinous pine and then a light grapefruit underneath.
The taste had a full bittersweet flavor revolving around the resinous piney part. Dry resinous aftertaste leads into a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body. ABV, whoah, where did that go? Its not really there, well hidden.
Overall, wow, just wow, just an absolutely stellar job by HF. I’d love to have this again. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2010

Poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, peach, tropical fruit, tangerine, pink grapefruit and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, peach, tropical fruit, tangerine and light pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering fruity finish. UPDATED: MAY 31, 2017 pours a slightly hazy copper with 2 fingers of eggshell head. Aroma is something else - delicious scents of pine, grapefruit, mango and that was BEFORE I poured a glass. Wonderful! Taste is a big blast of citrus hops balanced out by caramel malt - Mango, Grapefruit, Orange, Papaya - think a killer citrus fruit salad with a bit or earthiness and caramel for balance . For a 10.5% beer this one is as smooth as they get. No hyperbole here - this one is worthy of every ounce of hype it gets. Worth the drive to the farm. 2 liter growled. Thanks Zach ! Gold pour with a nice small white head. Sweet aroma of peach, orange, mango and pineapple. Huge tropical fruit flavors with a mild bitterness. Medium body with medium carbonation. Awesome IIPA, but could use more bitterness.
