COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Everett (1908-1939) was our grandfathers brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Porter is crafted from American malted barley, English and German roasted malts, American hops, our ale yeast, and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Decadent in its depth, with a complex backbone of chocolate, coffee, and malty sweetness, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Everett. 7.5% ALC/VOL 21 P Ingredients: Pale, Caramel, and Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, Columbus hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

My first from HF. Very excited for this one! Poured into a Highland pint glass. Pours a deep foreboding black. Heavy and scary looking. A great finger width of luscious mocha-head rests atop. The nose is rich with roasted malt, coffee grounds, dark breads, molasses. Well-rounded aroma invites me to partake. For the style, the feel holds up wonderfully. Velvety chewy mouth with a moderately-full heft to it. This is not an easy drinker, and thats fine by me. Holds up the decadence of the flavors perfectly. The beer is overflowing with rich, malty goodness. Roasted coffee stands out, followed by a not-unpleasant burst of charred bread. Semi-sweet chocolate, cut oats on the finish. Fantastic Porter. One of the best. Id love to have this one again.

Pours a dark black color with a nice mocha head. Nose of vanilla, chocolate malts, roasted coffee, woodyness, dark fruits, caramel malts. Taste is incredibly smooth, so creamy and thick. You get a lingering toastiness from the roasted malts. Full body. Finish is a bit dry. Extremely well made.

Lots of roast. And some coffee. Light caramel. Creamy consistency. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Better than shirly Mae like Shirly Temple. Nice. Tap at Churchkey.

Shared at gregwilsonstl house. It poured a black color with a dark brown head. The aroma was of dark roast, bitter chocolate, caramel, malts, light smokiness and dark fruits. The taste was similar to the aroma with more dark chocolate, roast, caramel, tobacco, licorice, light smokiness, wood and dark sweet fruits. Tasty.

This could be the best porter Ive ever had. The look is spot on, dark with a huge mocha head. The smell was outstanding, tons of chocolate, coffee, and hints of tobacco. The flavor follows suit as you get a bitter dark chocolate mixed with coffee and nice spicy finish. The feel is on the creamier side with a good amount of carbonation.

Hunted by Sergey; bottled 4.6.16
Black color, medium brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt and dark bread, light wet cardboard, pungent. One of the smoothest beers, relatively dry; roasted malt, dark chocolate, cardboard, touch of liquorice.
Excellent.

Wyrazista, mega ciekawa paloność, sporo tytoniu, długa, kawowa goryczka, wyraźny aromat dymu. Bardzo klasyczne i bardzo smaczne. Mgłbym pić codziennie.
