COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Florence (1915-1967) was our grandfather’s sister, and Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Belgian inspired Wheat ale is crafted from American malted barley, Organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Soft, cloudy, and fresh, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Florence. 5% ALC/VOL 12º P Ingredients: Pale Malt; Vermont Organic Wheat; American and European Hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Thanks to Metalchopz for picking up this 750ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a massive frothy white head and has a yellowish golden appearance. Big thick dirty lacing. Aromas of wheats, grassy and floral hops. Flavours are fruity, citrus, wheats, a little bit of honey, slight sourness in the finish. A bit tarty on the palate.

Metalchopz (3830) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2018
Bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden colour, getting cloudier as it pours. Creamy white cap, long lasting with thick creamy lacing. Beautiful tiny bubble carbonation like sparkling wine. Wheat nose with some citrus notes and Belgian Ale yeast hints. Wow, pretty sour taste (was not expecting this). Citrus lemons and limes. Not really Brett sourness as not so much earthy, but real sour. Still, pretty good all-around, but not one I would have again.

Bottle, 5.2%. Funky, soapy, and citric aroma. Very pale yellow colour. Small stable white head. Citric and funky flavour. Quite complex. Ripe fruits and sour fruits along with a semi-sharp acid. Rhubarb acid, I guess.

Bottle @ St. Patrick's Gone Mad, Sønderborg. Pours hazy pale straw with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, mcitrus and yeast, with lovely touches of farty cheese. Vinous flavour with notes of yeast and malt and butter hoppy touches. Funky finish on the acidic ride. Very good. One of the best Saisons I have had.

Lekko dziko belgijskie, nie tak wyraziste jak Anna, ale rownież pijalne, eleganckie, lagodnie brettowe, świetne.
