Florence (1915-1967) was our grandfathers sister, and Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Belgian inspired Wheat ale is crafted from American malted barley, Organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Soft, cloudy, and fresh, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Florence. 5% ALC/VOL 12 P Ingredients: Pale Malt; Vermont Organic Wheat; American and European Hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

Bottle from gnosis.. thanks.. Bottle back to back with Arthur.. Pour is paler yellow with same 3 finger head. A bit clearer than the Arthur. Lemon, pepper, cloves, sage on the nose..a bit more herbal and lighter smelling. Wow.. buckwheat, honey, citrus, mint. More carbonated and less tart than the Arthur. Same creamy feel but slightly crisper. Prefer the Arthurs tartness but the Florence nose.

Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Lots and lots of carbonation on this one. Nose of wheat, lemon and other esters, brown sugar, a bit of white wine and banana notes in there. Very clean nose. Taste is very smooth on the mouthfeel and then you get the light acidic finish which is so pleasant. Body is light which feels good for this style. So well balanced like all Hill Farmstead beers its reallly good

Poured from bottle thanks Heather_B golden orange color with a nice white head. Aromas of bright citrus lemon grass and floral notes. Taste is soft and smooth balanced tartness from the citrus and well done floral notes. Damn son.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2017 Draught. Pours a cloudy, pale straw yellow with a small sudsy white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, funk, spice, and lactic. Taste is tart lemon, wheat, grass, yeast, and a touch of bread. Dry finish. Light-medium body. Average carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Fairly simple but highly enjoyable.

La bouteille de 750mL verse un liquide blond dor, avec une petite carbonatation. Au nez, la levure est prsente, me faisant penser la levure classique de la saison belge, sucre et frache, avec des impressions de citron en finale. Au got, la levure prend galement le dessus, avec un ct plus rustique et sec que je mattend. La finale est sche avec une touche damertume terreuse qui me rappelle que la brasserie est amricaine et non Belge! En bref, une saison lamricaine qui ne se dmarque pas vraiment des autres saisons du genre. On sattend plus de la part de HF.

Tap. Parker Pie, West Glover, VT. Hazy, bright gold. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. Nose has clean, bready, lemon yeast. Soft bready malts. A little mashed banana. Taste is crisp and lemony. Touch of tartness. Gets light dry. Clean mouthfeel. Sharp and light. More of the lemon tartness on the finish.

Backlog. Sample at CBC Green Session 2016. Pours pale yellow with small, white head. Aroma of bright citrus, apricot, lemongrass, a bit of perfume and floral notes. Slightly bretty and tart lactic. Really nice!
