Fad p Mikkeller.

On tap at Mikkeller. Black with a small dark brown head. Lots of roast and coffee in the aroma. A bit faint, did I have a runny nose at the time? Taste is great with sweetness, dark chocolate, lots of raisin, roasted malt, vinous notes and slight alcohol at the end. Smooth mouth feel, full bodied and low to medium carbonation. Smooth and bitter chocolatey after taste.
A very well balanced Imperial Stout, my first offering from HF and lot the last.

(on tap @ Mikkeller & Friends) Pours black with little, tan head. Decent retention and good lace. Aroma is a well balanced coffee with subtle hints of what resembles oak. Alcohol is well masked. Oily texture, full body without being too filling, soft carbonation and a lingering, dark and slightly sweet coffee finish. Flavour is somewhat remniscient of dark chocolate but without much bitterness. Very smooth and balanced in it's expression with easy drinkability, which is rare for the style. Girlfriend says: "It's really good!"
