Again, Hill Farmstead can, from Hill Farmstead. No mention of Grassroots. phaleslu (10738) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Cloudy. Lightly dank and earthy with a noticeable pineapple/orange/lemony twang to the nose and flavor (thank you Citra!). A top tier IPA with a deep profile and smooth fuller feel. One person asked if it was a double. 4.3+
12 oz. can from Steve. Thanks again, Steve! The can says nothing about Grassroots; this is straight up Hill Farmstead. Pours a hazy light gold with a good inch-plus of frothy white head that laces the glass heavily while settling into an uneven ring and film. Notes of lemon citrus, bright herbs and florals, pine, pineapple, pale and doughy malts. More rounded and fruity in the flavor, and more dry and dusty and grassy and sharp in the nose. Light-bodied, with soft carbonation and a soft, bitter, herbal and floral mouthfeel with just the right balance, something they always nail. Good water? Man. Anyway, this is great. A friend shared this with me. 750mL Hill Farmstead pop top growler. Pours a juicy orange/tropical color. Super juicy with notes of straw, slight earthy hop, orange, light grain, fruity and tropical qualities, but not sweet. So balanced! Amazing!!

Aroma strong Simcoe notes with slightly creamy backing. Soft, session friendly, pleasant balanced approach. 7+
Top: medium lighter top, dense, minimal lace with some rings on glass. Long lived.
Base: cloudy, golden
Palate : medium bodied, softer than most. Average finish.
Taste: Side with more edge to it. Nice refreshing set up. Worked perfectly with my lunch. Seemingly straight IPA yet done so well. Ending with touches of lemonade.

750ml growler poured into a Noda snifter.
A~ glowing light orangey yellow. definitely resembles a mimosa. nice flowing white head and a lot of lacing all the way down.
S~ lots of tangerine, followed by a nice amount of pine and hop bitterness on the finish.
T~ takes a slight spin off course, first you get some fresh cut grass which then tastes like it was marinaded in a crazy citrus infusion of tangerines, lemons, oranges, and clementines. more earthyness on the finish, pine, grass, and a little hay. of course leaving which seems like a citra hop bitterness on the palet.
M~ very smooth, crisp, and refreshing. nice carbonation and a tad dry from the hops.
O~ really nice, well balanced IPA. great for a hot day like today. definitely worth a try but i wouldn’t put it in my top 10 or anything... especially after having Mag 7 last night haha
Draft at Armsby Abbey. Pours cloudy and yellow with a big white head. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Nice floral and grassy notes on the nose. Grassy and piney on the tongue. Finished clean. Very quaffable and approachable. salvaticas (1001) - - FEB 24, 2017
On tap at BGH. Pours a cloudy gold. Fruit and hops on the nose. Hoppy and slightly bitter. Flavors somewhat muddled. Good.

Draft. Cloudy yellow body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of citrus, toasted grain, lemon, orange, light grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Really nice balance among flavorful citrusy hops (orange, citrus, peach), bittering hops and sweet malts resulting in a highly quaffable beer. Not a lot of depth, but what’s there is really tasty. jflopsu (1827) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Pours a hazy bright yellow with white head. A strong floral, citrus, hop and pine aroma. A sweet citrus taste with pine, tropical fruit, floral and hops. A sweet citrus and light bitter hoo aftertaste - but not overwhelming. cards04 (2931) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 29, 2016
Thanks Adam! This stuff us 2legit2quit. Ha. Anyway.... Pours a light sunny yellow. Hazy with bubbly white head. Beautiful bubblegum and mango aromas. Tastes like it smells. Reminds me of Edward with a great bitter finish. Fuck. It’s enough to make me want to move to Vermont....Trump and Clinton be damned.
