Can shared at RBAG Summer Gathering 2017. Trade with snovaksnipet (thanks Pat!) Near black, rich black malts with dark fruits, nice acidity in the finish.

*4/19/2017 500ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead taster. A~ black with a small tan head and no lacing. S~ lots of roasty malt up front followed by slight coffee, honey/caramel sweetness, finishing with some oaky vanilla. T~ follows the nose with more honey vanilla sweetness. slight dark fruits linger as well. M~ extremely clawing! honey coats the mouth. but other than that nice carb. O~ very nice addition to the series! once the sweetness from what i can only assume Aaron and Double George bring to the table dies down this is gonna be wonderful! if you have more i’d give it a year or more.

Mes sens me jouent-ils des tours?

Bottle from an IP trade in NYC, shared at In De Wildeman. Black color. Dense beige head. Aroma’s: mild bourbon, chocolate, light fruit. Retronasal it’s sweet, (red) fruit, a bit alcoholic, bourbon, light vanilla. Flavor is above moderate sweet, chocolate-y. Above medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long finish, with cohoclate and light roast. Very subtle, delicious stuff!

Boutip (6372) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with light warming alcohol notes is pleasant enough. Taste is mostly dominated by black chocolate malt notes with some light bourbon and vanilla notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with some alcohol perceptible. Enjoyable but not the most drinkable beer brewed by this fine brewery.

Thx! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ a Samson & Gert Tasting. Aged sample. Bottled 2016 12 14.Dark brown with no head.Nose is warming, almost varnish alcohol, bourbon, faint plastic, basic chocolate. Taste is basic chocolate syrup, basic cheaper chocolate, mocha, finish is surprisingly alcoholic, quite boozy, some bourbon, quite alcoholic finish,... Basic chocolate syrup & strongly alcoholic body. Raw, too unbalanced, surprisingly boozy. Not the best.

Bottle. Caramel and chocolate bouquet. Boozy and sweet with a thinner body. Huge barrel effects. To be honest, one of my least favorite of this run. Average body and mouthfeel.
