RBWG Winter Gathering, Asheville, courtesy of someone. Pours a black color with white head. Roasty; chocolate, malty sweet flavors. Pretty solid. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Very last bit of a 500ml bottle. Very dark brown, near black color. Nice thin lighter brown head, couple dots of lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. MMmm... Awesome bigger coffee aroma, good dark chocolate. Moderate bitter taste, lighter sweet. Fantastic velvety smooth chewy texture to this. Bigger body. Alcohol well hidden. Citrus is subtle, for me, but some light orange chocolate citrus is noticeable. Probably a good thing. Very interesting stuff. Fantastically smooth. drsordr (2928) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2014

Bottle @ RBWG. Pours a black appearance with a brown head. Somewhat spicy piney hoppy, thick chocolate, a touch fruity aroma. Well balanced. Dark chocolate. A bit of fruits. Delicious. neepsntatties (2076) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Bottle courtesy of "hannont". Colour...black with a thin tan head. Nose...somewhat soy like but not in a bad way. There’s something coffee like too and just a smidge of burnt orange. Palate...dry, oaky, and tannic. Rather thin on the mouthfeel but that doesn’t distract from the flavour profile which includes dark chocolate, chocolate sirop and day old coffee. Not much citrus on the palate, but that’s ok.

Pours black with low deep tan head. Aroma of molasses, coffee, light citrus bitter, some dried dark fruit. Taste is very chocolate intense with light balancing bitterness and hints of citrus. Lingering coffee and chocolate finish. Very roasty. Full creamy body that manages to stay very light and crisp.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis and shared at Local Option, Chigaco. Poured a deep mahogany with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is rich alcohol liqourice. The flavour is strong bitter with a roasted malt liqourice coffee chocolate slightly watery palate. A super beer but needs more body. Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 16, 2013
