Sampled from bottle @ "Het is allemaal de schuld van Koen" tasting. Hazy yellow to light orange color, average sized white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is lightly malts, very fruity, hops. Taste malts, hops, light sweet fruityness, soft bitterness. Decent body and soft to average carbonation. Disappointing, not as good as I had hoped. Bottle @ joes goes whalehunting tasting. Smells fruity, hops, fresh, very nice. Tastes hops, fruity, fresh, pineapple. Great balance, great taste. Medium body, great carbo. Reynolds314 (3433) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Probably the worst in the series but that being said its still very good and brings you back to a different era of ipas. Floral grapefruit and herbal nature of cascade hops dominate. Taste is mildly bitter cracker malt and really good hidden alcohol. dlovell2 (2099) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Pours golden with white head. Aroma is citrus, earthy hops, and pine. Flavor is biscuit malt, citrus, earthy floral hops and pine resin. Garrold (5190) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2015
Tap. Three Penny Taproom, Montpelier, VT. Hazy gold. Thin, white head. Leggy in the glass. Big, sweet, rustic malts. Dank, herbal hop. Backdrop of sharp, tangy citrus. Taste is rich and chewy bitter. Soft chew. Finishes long, soft, chewy, resinous bitter.

Citrus and some hay. Pours cloudy golden. Light tangy finish. Good stuff, and well balanced. Some pine. Tap at Armsby Abbey. Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 23, 2015
Growler. Pours murky yellow with a thin white head that lingers. Piney hop aroma over mild carbonation. Tasty but not as complex as you'd expect from hill.

Sampled at the brewery (which has an amazing new tasting room). Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of strong cascade hops with some pine and light citrus, pale malts, and the cleanness of all HF beers. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Light HF texture. A great beer for an entirely Cascade hopped beer, but still not my favorite hop. ctipping (1956) - Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2015
750 mL growler. Originally reviewed 4/15/2013.
Hazy without much head. The thinnest of collars. A few loney islands.
Smell has lots of grapefruit hops. Very citrusy. A little bit of sweetness.
Taste is grapefruit and a bit of creaminess. Less intensely hoppy. Grainy hops. Low bitterness.
The creaminess is a little odd, but not off putting. Very drinkable. Low carbonation.
Straightforward but very good. Less impressive than the other Society & Solitude variants. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Pour is a little darker than the standard hf ipa. Medium amber with the standard heavy haze and a tight white head. Nose has an assertive spice, oily hop, notes of citrus, moderate earthiness malt balance. Taste has a fair bit of the grain bill right up front, earthy malt, citrus comes in and gets a touch oily in the hop flavor. Spice lingers around the finish. Citrus and a hint of floral hop give an added punch as it warms. Body is light, really soft feel, moderate carb, dry but still a long finish.
