Very hazy amber beer, good off white head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Minerals. Nice mellow fruity hops - blood orange and regular orange marmalade. Lesser lemon and grapefruit. Finishes neutral with a good bitter marmalade aftertaste.
Growler. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Rich aroma, some tangerine, honeydew, melon, orange. Medium sweet flavour with moderate piney bitterness, dry pale bread, grapefruit, citrus peel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous to finish, with lots more rindy citrus, grapefruit, melon, tangerine. Excellent. mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2012
750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany!), pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is very piney and floral hop-heavy, with truckloads of piney hops and balanced doughy malt to back. Flavour begins exceedingly piney, with loads of resinous and floral hops as well, some citrus and grapefruity in there as well. The malt backing isn’t obvious from the flavour, but the palate is quite thick and chewy for a Double IPA. Finishes dry, with loads of piney and some herbal (a bit pot-like) hops. Absolutely beautiful. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 14, 2012

Growler thanks to Charles. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit, mango and grapefruit, pine, resin. Medium mouth, juicy hop, dank, pine, lingering resin finish, very nice. Tmoney99 (14480) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy golden copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy complex floral hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet herbal flavor with a medium to heavy complex bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

A hazed amber ale with a thin creamy frothy off white head. In aroma, classic Hill pungent hops, catty and smooth, orange pulp, a bit of Brett notes. In mouth, biscuit malt with piney hops, catty notes, citrus pulp, beautiful. On tap at Three Penny Taproom, April 6, 2012. Sammy (12204) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 3, 2012
UPDATED: APR 18, 2016 Capping bottle, or half a growler. Cloudy orange colour, lots of lace. Hoppy, fresh and citrus aroma. Above average mouthfeel, but hop pellet bitterness. Raw and not the greatest drinkability. Dissapointing experience.
I was even more disapointed when having it again from growler 4 years later. j12601 (11840) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 14, 2012
