Huge thanks to Mike for sharing this growler. Pours cloudy golden amber hue with marshmellow off white head. Aroma has a nice mix of citrus bitter hops with a touch of pine. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor has upfront citrus tart note, then the finish has a strong and somewhat astringent hop bite. It lets you know that its a double. Even though it doesn’t really taste like a double. Its very deceiving. Thanks again Mike.

Draught. Pours a cloudy - essentially opaque - orangeish straw with a medium white head. Aroma is grapefruit, mango, dough, grass, and a very light pine. Taste is similar but very sweet and lightly bitter - some orange and pineapple, as well. Medium body. Medium carbonation - lightly prickly. Juicy, sticky, lightly creamy mouthfeel. Not as good as Double Galaxy but an excellent beer blending Double Galaxy with the best elements of Double Citra.

Thanks Ryan for sharing the growler! Poured into a tulip glass showing hazy orange with spares white foam. The nose shows moderately intense guava and lime with a strong NE style malt backbone. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Light flavours of guava with a strong NE style malt backbone and a moderate sharp bitterness on the finish. Better on the nose than the palate.

2 litre growler (best before 08-06-17). Appearance: nice cloudy blonde wheat/hay-like, subtle but holding foam. Smell: pear, peach, orange. Taste: highly fruity mix of pear, peach, pineapple and pineapple, nice piney notes, mid-bitterness, awesome feel for style. Overall: close to perfect Double India Pale Ale, great drinkability, complex use of hops, successful balance of juiciness, hopiness and complexity.

*8/31/2013 750ml growler poured into a Kane snifter. A~ glowing neon yellow, with a nice fluffy head and some lacing. S~ crazy citrus hop presence. Nice and earthy and full of life! T~ pretty much follows the nose, you can really tell the difference between the citra and galaxy. They really play nice together. More mango, lemon like bitterness comes in on the after taste. M~ super smooth and amazing carbonation as always. O~ definitely not my favorite of the series but still incredible. I’m still more for the blacks lol

Pours nice and thick with a beautiful bright head. Citrus hops on the nose. Flavor of the citra hops helps balance the galaxy in an awesome way!

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. HFD #16 Podobny profil do Tree House. Smooth, bardzo dużo owoców, świetny profil goryczki.

Poured from a growler into a tulip: Pours hazy orange with a one finger foamy white head. Aroma is a straight citrus pale ale, lots of grapefruit and orange. Taste is more of the same, so much flavor not a hint of booze. Medium body, perfect carbonation, slight sticky. Really awesome.

On tap at the brewery. Pungent grapefruit and sweet citrus aromas and flavors, before it all finishes quickly and dry. This is outrageously well-made and delicious.
