Murky blond color. Huge smell of hops: piney, pungent, musk, some tropical fruit, farts. Lean yet strong body; pale malts base, and juicy and resiny hops on top, orange peel and more resins in the final, mildly astringent later.
750ml growler poured into a Hill Farmstead taster.
A~ light orange with a small white fluffy head and a lot of lacing.
S~ tons of orange and tangerine! whoa!! slight earthy pine, dank hops, and back around to a lot of citrus!
T~ i didn’t think it was possible but theres more citrus going on here!! crazy tangerine and dank hops! lots of Nelson. i can’t complain!
M~ extremely smooth, nice carb and refreshing.
O~ i’m sure i’ve said this before but i seriously think this is my new favorite of the series! the strong tangerine presence really makes this unique and delicious! HF is back on their hop game!! ahh i shouldn’t say that... they always kill anything with Nelson! fiery1 (1888) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 31, 2017
Growler @ the office. Pours a dirty murky golden colour with a thin white head. Nose has a light citrusy sour juicy pineapple with a slight piney note. Flavour is also juicy with a mildy bitterness that is quite pleasant that balances the sweet backbone. beerplace (2515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 31, 2017
