Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with an extremely lively, tall, white head. Lightly spicy aroma with a whiff of yeast and minerals. Medium-bodied, first a light sweetness and I imagine I can feel a touch of honey. Flowery, spicy, herbal with a dry and lightly bitter finish - perhaps a late twist of licorice? A very pleasant and easy to drink Saison that comes close to the Belgian originals. And in spite of the almost violent head it doesn’t really apper overcarbonated. 310112 Travlr (24784) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2011

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 Bottle shared at The Kernel. Pours cloudy yellow with a big, airy white head. Lovely yeast aroma with touches of grass, lemon, yeast and bread. Medium sweet flavor, with the honey imparting a bit of hefty sugar, and there is a lightly dry and terse bitterness of mild grass and dandelion. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish, some dough, light grass, pleasant yeast. Highly drinkable with loads of character. One could easily drink a lot of this beer. Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy blond color, with green hue, and generous head. Strong spicy aroma, with good character, and also a touch of hazelnut. Highly carbonated; very dry; also fairly acidic, lemony, tart, moderately astringent, close to some mellow Lambic.
Excellent, very well brewed; the more I drink of it, the more I like it.
