750 mL growler . Originally reviewed 6/12/2013.
Very hazy golden orange. Small white head that lingers. Thin layer of foam rests atop the beer.
Bright citrus hop aroma. Grainy malt. Mostly hops.
Strong citrus hop flavor. Grapefruit and slightly tropical flavor. Grains behind it with almost no sweetness. The slightest hop bitterness. Oily hop flavor lingers on the palate
Light bodied and quite drinkable. Medium carbonation.
Another great pale. Very tasty, clean, and drinkable as hell. DinVT (30) - Vermont, USA - NOV 8, 2015
On tap in Stowe at Bench This is a world class APA for anyone who loves hops and smoothness. bigda83 (854) - Jamestown, New York, USA - OCT 8, 2015
Draft at Reservoir. Poured a bright yellow, fairly clear, foamy white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, grassy, herbal, slight floral hints. Flavor had some mango, lemon, grass, and herbal. Light body and slick texture to it. Bubbly carbonation and really smooth and slick finish. Another hoppy hit from HF. Stoned99 (1632) - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 28, 2015
750ml 3 days old growler from the brewery. Aroma: tropical fruits, grassy hops. App: hazy golden with thick white head and good retention considering this is 3 days old. And also leaving lacing. Taste and palate: fruity and herbacy in mouth, resinous, dry medium bitter finish. Overall: great. Pretty much the same as their other IPA’s but more clean and less hoppy. Draught at Prohibition Pig. It pours hazy golden - orange with a thick white head. The nose is soft, juicy, orange, tangerine, sticky marmalade, melon, faint cucumber, grass and dough. The taste is crisp, quite dry, high bitterness, grapefruit, orange, pithy citrus, grass, minerals, straw, pine and some pepper with a smooth, bitter finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. One of the more bitter and dry HF offerings. Crisp and refreshing.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hops, malt, and a bit of hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. High drinability. MacBoost (1926) - Victor, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2015
This beer is the definition of focus. Pale yellow pour, large head, good retention, amazing aroma of citrus and Amazonian tree fruit. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Flavors of deep tropical fruit, citrus. Amazing does not begin to describe it. Finished dry. Mind = blown. dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2015
On tap at Abbye in Worcester. Basically the same beer as Susan, but with fewer hops. Bartender gave me and a buddy both beers together and asked us to pick which one was which. Only difference was Susan was hoppier. Really good beer though. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 18, 2015
Pretty much got my "Hill Farmstead" on at three penny tap. Pours golden Amber, slightly translucent. Slim white head that leaves a nice lacing coat. Lots of citrus, oranges, mango, slight bitterness. Light body. mrohia (278) - Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2015
The Farmhouse, Burlington, VT, draft. Yellow. Lacing lasts. Tastes a little thin, but bitter. Good, but expected more. In fairness, I'm distracted and the guy next to me keeps farting.
