375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderate funk, saison yeast, and a bit of oak. Flavour is bright on the apple, with light oak, saison yeast, and light tartness. The apples offer a little crispness, leaving a slight tart finish. Nice stuff.

*2/10/2016 375ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass. A~ light glowing yellow, nice bubbly head and no lacing. S~ straight apple pie... with brett! apples up front followed by barnyard funk and peppery saison yeast on the finish. T~ amazing fresh tart green apples rush your pallet followed by lemon/lime tartness, wine barrel funk and what seems like that distinct Anchorage Brett. little black pepper on the back end but those apples stay present the whole time, lingering afterwards as well. mmm...! M~ not too thick, not too thin. very smooth and champaign like carb that dies down quickly. O~ holy apples! this is incredible! kind of like Arthur with a bunch of apples. both HF and Anchorage shine in this collab.! you can really tell what they both contributed.

375 ml bottle... Pours murky and yellow with a small, white collar. The subtle aroma is sweet, bready and fruity - apples. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and laid-back carbonation. The flavor is super tart, bright, fruity and yeasty. Finishes tangy and bready. Very enjoyable. Bottle courtesy of 50belair!

neongolden (1795) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 11, 2016
(On tap @ Warpigs HF Day, Copenhagen, May 12 2016) Pours dark gold with basically no head. Aroma of apple flesh and must, a touch oxidated, pale malt, semi-sweet apple juice, woody cellar notes and citrusy overtones. Flavour is semi-sweet apple juice, tart lemony notes, cider vinegar, straw, bitter orange, bittering hops. Finish is a bit mineral, with dry oak, apple skins and yeast. Fairly light body with tingling light carbonation. This is fairly straightforward and addition-driven compared to a lot of HF stuff, refreshing and easy to drink.
