Bottle @ home. Greek tick, fuck yeah. Clear golden straw pour with a short lived white head. Smells sugary, watery, and papery. Grape cough syrup, cardboard, and cereal. Somewhat solventy, chemical taste. Really oxidized and papery. Tons of cardboard, grape cough syrup, and cereal. Big time sugar and cooked vegetables, too. bhensonb (15968) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 14, 2006
Very light aroma - arguably malt. Light gold color. Frothy white head. Starts light malty sweet, sort of thin with a hint of metal at the middle, finishes with light sweetness and a hint of malt. Better than Bud, but that’s not really saying all that much. crossovert (14134) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 11, 2012
Not an actual Greek beer per se. This country has no recent brewing history, their oldest brewery this one is only like 2 years old if that. the company that is behind this is a Greek importer in Chicago. Overall it isn’t bad, I had it with a really spicy bowl of chili, it turned out to be quite fruity and unoffensive. Jsut your standard EPL. Flavor is heavy malt (straw, meal, bread), light hops (earthy), light esters (fruity) with notes of peaches. >> Pours clear, deep gold. Soda foam. Nose is sweet sugar, sweet candied lemon. Taste is candied lemon, stickier sugar, higher fusel notes.
Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy base, some light corny-like sweetness, and very faint bitterness. Meh, fine I guess. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 30, 2011
Bottle. Light golden beer with an off-white head. Mineral and light grass aroma. Sweet malt flavor with light caramel and light citrus. Medium bodied. Sweet malt and light caramel lingers. bytemesis (9502) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with a large white head that dissipates slowly with surprisingly nice lacing. Aroma is standard pale lager - grain, a bit of corn syrup, and grass. Flavor is about the same, lightly sweet with a light grassy bitter finish. Light body. No obviously metallic or otherwise off notes. Not bad for what it is. 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 6, 2005
Smells and tastes literally like nothing. Like carbonated water almost, with a small hint of corn and rice in the finish. I’ve had water more flavor it seems. Tastes a little like tissue paper after an entire bottle. Weird.
