Golden orange pour with a white head. Really herbal and vegetal aroma. Some floral and grassy hops, toast, and sweet bread. The flavor is grassy, bitter, herbal, and vegetal. Some floral hops, toast, bread, and caramel.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Light fruity hops, some floral bitterness, and light sweet malts. Fine.

Not bad at all. Light golden color with a foamy heady. Light weight and crisp. Pale malt and straw aroma. Well-blended malt base with a nice hoppy finish. Easy to drink.

Draught at the brewery/taproom in San Diego. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grassy, hay, peach notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, grassy, caramel, some peach. Kinda meh.

bergstaden (3099) - Røros, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2015
Pale golden with a white head - Malt aroma with some hints of citrus - Mlat body to support a very sitrus heavy flavour - Citrus goes into the finish and ends dry - This was nice

hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2015
On tap at the Hillcrest Brew Pub. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small sized head. Another pale / golden that didn’t really taste any different than the other pale / golden I had right before this.

StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - JAN 24, 2014
650 ml bottle. Pours a translucent copper color with a small white head that has poor retention and no lacing. The aroma is mild with various grains and perhaps a bit of corn. The taste, like the aroma, is grains and corn with a bit of spicy hops. The palate is on the watery side and the carbonation is lively. Finishes short and forgettable. Overall: Weak brew.

SDalkoholic (2395) - Linda Vista, California, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Bottle from Sprout’s: Created a thick fluffy topping of foam head while a golden liquid rested below. Aroma is mild with a smell of grainy barley malts but I am unable to pick up any scents of hops in this pale ale. Does smell like a beer I would want to drink after mowing the lawn though. The drink is much more pleasant than my nose led me to believe because of the soft undertones of semi-sweet malts while an earthy taste of hops brings flavors of bitterness. Has a solid body making this a decent pale ale style.

I loved this pale ale which is actually red in color. It had a nice kick to it but still very smooth and light for a hot day.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours bright coppery orange with a thin head. Aroma is slightly nutty caramel malt. Taste is mild sweet caramel malt with a spicy earthy hops on the finish. Nice mild pale. Big bonus points: this comes with a real necklace at the brewpub. Impressive commitment to the meme!
