Flavor is Belgian yeast forward with clove, light fruits and sweet grains. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Draught at a beer festival. Pours a hazy brown color. Nose is slightly grassy and has a bit of the typical Belgian yeast to it. Taste is slightly sweet, but unremarkable. Meh. fiulijn (20498) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2014
Draught at Portland Craft, Vancouvermcberko (17837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 27, 2014
Light amber color, hazy, with frothy head. Aroma of phenol, glue. Dry mouthfeel; the flavor is very chemical. Some honey.
On tap at Hilliard’s, pours a dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma of Belgian yeast above anything, with no English notes. Flavour brings out dirty Belgian yeast and earthy notes. Pretty solid beer, a la a saison more than an ESB. Decent. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Tap, brewery. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a minimal white head that fell to a thin ring. The nose is dark malt with a slight Belgian yeastiness. Rather sweet smelling with some dark fruits. The flavor is pretty sweet with a bit of a slight chemical note, light citrusy hops, and a bit of yeastiness. Lingering citrusy hops on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a little clingy with some sticky caramel malt. A bit of a made up style perhaps, but not a stellar example compared to the few others I’ve had. A little trying to consume a whole pint of.
