Very hazy orange, like a hefe weizen.
enticing palate, smell of grapes and ripe fruits. taste of sweet yeast and great carbonation. Heavy hop bitterness. A very german double IPA in the best sense of the word. Reminds me of Schneider's Hopfenweisse, but better. drmet (1079) - GERMANY - FEB 20, 2018
-pours an opaque amber with a small to medium, frothy, offwhite head
-medium carbonation visible
-medium bitterniss for the style
-light to medium body
Still a good IPA, but the old version (7.1% Alc.) was much better. nimbleprop (9081) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - FEB 10, 2018
12oz bottle pours a murky, dark orange with some fluffy, frothy, white head. Nose has some very authentic orange, mango, pine notes, a little strawberry too. There's also a very piney/pithy note in the nose. Flavor has orange and mango and berry, some melon too. The pine and pith hits at the end and it's heavy. Full bodied, sticky, bitter finish. Perhaps too much in the boil, but there's a lot character too. rhoihessegold (2217) - Mainz, Rineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 7, 2018

Aroma - crystal malt and moderate hops.
Appearance - the body is an unfiltered cloudy orange/copper. The head is 1" and settles slowly. Decent lacing.
Taste - mix of crystal malt and Amarillo and Simcoe hops.
Palate - the body is medium, texture is average, the carbonation is average, the finish is moderately bitter and short in length. snowcrash000 (187) - Cologne, GERMANY - JAN 16, 2018
Pours a light amber, coppery coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smell is an intruiging mix of caramel, biscuity malt and floral hops, with notes of orange peel and pine. Similarily, taste is a very nice balance of sweet malts and floral, citrus hops, with the malt and pine taking centre stage. Notes of orange peel, toffee and a little booze. Not really getting a lot of tropical fruit from this, to be honest. Finishes with a medium bitterness. Nicely balanced DIPA, but not that complex and a little boozy as it warms. Mouthfeel is smooth, but could be better. androman (3000) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2018
