A little watery yellow lager with a bitter end but with a lively carbonation. Suite better a sunny day but it goes well with just some friends.

beermonster1989 (20) - - JAN 14, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 A pale crisp beer which is slightly bitter. Very limited head. Quite amazing that it has come all the way from Tahiti. Probably tastes better there. 5% strength. Small bottle with a charming Tahitian lady on it.

Unterdurchschnittliches Lager mit undefinierbaren Störnoten. Vielleicht etwas metallisch. Insgesamt leicht süßlich grasig getreidig mit einer völlig unausballancierten leichten Bitternote. Stimmig ist anders.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 "The beer is clear golden in colour with a tiny foam head. It tastes crisp with just the right amount of bitterness from the malt. Slight taste of citrus before it finishes off with a hint of sweetness." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Bought at: Bien Manger in La Canourgue, France.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Bier & Beer', best before November 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, honey, popcorn and some straw. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, slightly grassy taste of grains, popcorn, some honey and a touch of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not the most refreshing Lager though.

A very typical warm weather/tropics brewed type beer. Grassy and somewhat skunky on the smell, but not more or less than others of the type. Refreshing taste, little bit sweet, tiny bit metallic, otherweise nothing suprising, hint of bitterness perhaps. If I was in French Polynesia I wouldn't shy away from this.

Bottiglia.

330ml Bottle at Umeda Sky Building, Osaka, Japan (¥500):
Quite an enjoyable beer that was basic but surprisingly fresh & drinkable, going down easily with little sign of any skunk or off-flavours. There was some subtle sweetness from the corn & touches of biscuit malt worked well with the usual grassy hops & hay flavours. It's enjoyable for what it was & is definitely one of the better mass-market pale lagers out there, I'm glad I stumbled across this one.

Nice can, no detail information here. Clear golden beer with short fine and big white head, smell is grass and moldy, taste is very light bitter, on the end light sweet, light malty, very good drinkability, short finish, not special, good average, (I have 0.5l can with best“before 12.10.18 and batch L15 3 18)

Golden and clear. Light lager, lights sweetness, easy to drink. Average lager.

I have always seen an INternational lager as a seperate beer type. This does not fail to meet that category. I am happy to have drunk a Tahiti beer full stop. This wateresque experience is what you expect. Just a very slight bitterness with the expected freshness and island beer taste. This is surely emhanced through th esun and environment in Tahiti.
