bottle - Pours dark amber-brown with an off white head. It has a toasted caramel malt aroma. The flavor is of rich toasted caramel malt with a solid, bitter balance. It’s medium bodied and finishes with some good bitterness. mikemccarthy (91) - Huntington, West Virginia, USA - JUN 19, 2012
Pours a clear copper with a thin, white head that stays. Good lacing. A full and gently effervescent mouthfeel. Balanced taste. Good beer.

1 pint bottle. Thin off-white head. Bubbles on side of glass. Clear amber color. Crisp carbonation, dry texture. Toasty, caramel, bready aroma, some light hops. Light sweet, toasty taste. Decent amber. The 1 pint bottle size makes it convenient to enjoy with a sandwich. arkurzynski (2456) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Heidel House Brewfest. Reddish amber in color. Aroma is light, generic hops and sweet toasted malt and caramel. Flavor is a slightly grainy toasted malt, light caramel that gives way to a moderate herbal-type hop bitterness that lingers. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - MAR 18, 2012
Decent Amber. Aroma is light with some maltiness and hay. Taste is better than the aroma. Very sweet with carmel and malts. Alittle to sticky on the palate, but not bad overall.

Bottle. Poured a dark amber with an average to large rocky off-white head that was lasting with good lacing. Mediumfloral sweet grainy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of medium duration. Good sweet grain brew.

Sampled from the tap at the Milwaukee location. Pours a clear amber with an off white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice floral note with light hops and backing cereal. Flavor has notes of sweet grains and cereal with a bit of light fruit in the finish. ryanfolty (2585) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Date: December 10, 2011 Mode: Bottle Source: BVery Description: Light brown/amber pour with minimal head that went away immediately, mild aroma of hops and caramel, taste was similar but a funky aftertaste that did not sit well with me. BVery (11241) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Bottle. Mostly clear amber pour with a nice initial soapy head that fades quickly. Nice aroma of flowers and caramel. Medium to lighter palate, low carbonation. Taste isn’t as good as the aroma - mild caramel, low hop, low carbonation. thornecb (6022) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Caramel aromas. Bread, caramel, toffee and nuts from front to back. Dry mild resin finish.
