Our Door County Cherry Wheat pours a golden, orange hue. The frothy two finger off-white, slightly pink-tinted head fades to leave a spotty lace. The slight aroma of cherries doesnt over power the soft wheat smell. These flavors play wonderfully together, neither overpowering the other in taste. With a medium-light body, Cherry Wheat leaves you with a mildly tart Montmorency cherry finish.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2010 Pour a slightly cloudy reddish mid-amber with minimal head and a light lace around the edges. Aroma of cherries and malt. Taste of malts and citrus and then finishes with slightly sweet cherries and low hops. A decent body with low-natural carbonation. Overall, pretty good fruit wheat ale. Worth a try if you get near the Green Bay area.

Aroma is tart cherries, fruit and a hint of brown dark bread. The flavor is cherries, fruit, dark bread/malts, mild dark fruit and a mix of slight sweetness and tart in the finish.

Very faint fruity notes, light grain malts. Clear gold, tiny head. Light sweet. Sweet grain and bread malts, molasses, sweet cherries and other red fruits, soft carbonation. Aroma is way too weak and palate is just a bit too sweet, does not remind of a Wheat at all. Keg at The Old Fashioned, Madison, WI.

Bottle from notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange/dark golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, grains, cherries, hay, nose is better than the flavor.

Pours a slightly hazy darker yellowish golden color with white head. Cherry, wheat, and some grassy notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with cherry, light, and tart.

Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma is very mild grains with no esters and no cherry. Taste is dark grains with mild cherry flavors. I dont know about this one. Even though the flavors are mild, theres something heavy about this ale. Its not what I would expect from a wheat, but not heavy enough to be something else. Confused.

12 oz bottle-- As fruit flavored beer goes, I liked it. I only noted a slight cherry aroma on top of large, frothy head of hazy gold color. The cherry taste did not overwhelm the wheat and gave the wheat a deeper taste. Not bad at all. Total Wine.

Lightly hazed orange amber color with a moderate, fairly dense, beige head that does seem to have a lightly pink hue. Sweet and lightly acidic in the nose, with bits of wheat and cherry. More a wheat ale scent for me. Definitely Door County cherries in the flavors. Tart cherry pie comes to mind. I like it for the flavor of the cherries more than any wheat beer characters. If you like Door County cherries, you should enjoy this one. 2/10
