COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Door County Cherry Wheat pours a golden, orange hue. The frothy two finger off-white, slightly pink-tinted head fades to leave a spotty lace. The slight aroma of cherries doesn’t over power the soft wheat smell. These flavors play wonderfully together, neither overpowering the other in taste. With a medium-light body, Cherry Wheat leaves you with a mildly tart Montmorency cherry finish.

Meh. Poured with a nice off-white head that slowly settles, some lace, and a hazy honey amber color. Aroma is a yeasty beery, slightly cherry. Flavor’s like an average amber ale with tart cherry added.. Body is ok. Finish is ok. Probably good to cook with.

[Tap] Pours a hazy red color with a nice cap of off-white head. Sweet cherry aroma. Quite sweet overall. Tastes of wheat malt, cherry cough drop, tart fruits, grains, mildly tart finish. The palate is a bit thin for the level of sweetness in here. Average carbonation level. This really is not too bad for what it is.

[Bottle] shared by jk. Thanks! Pours clear peachy gold with a soapy white head. Aroma is light and grainy, no cherry evident, light wheat malt. Flavor is very light, a touch of cherry, light grain and wheat. Pretty light overall, but drinkable.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap. Orange pour with a semi-frothy white head. Wheat and just a touch of fruit in the nose. Medium light palate. All cherry on taste - tastes somewhat articifial. Still good.

On tap at Old Fashioned, pours a clear amber/red with a creamy white head and lacing through out the glass, the aroma has a slight cherry touch with more malt and wheat, the flavor has some cherry on teh front end with a sweet finish, wish the cherry came through a little more on this one, more wheat than anything.

Pint bottle from West Lakeview LIquors. Pours a cloudy, golden-amber colored body with an inch thick, dense and frothy, pinkish white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is crisp wheats with some crackers and a light cherry backing. Fairly grainy with a touch of grass. Flavor is grainy and crackery wheats up front with much more of a cherry flavor than the aroma. A touch of sweetness to the cherries with a bit of a bitterness coming off as well as a touch of tartness in the finish. A few florals before this finishes dry and somewhat sweet from the cherries before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent fruit beer/wheat. Nice amount of cherries with a light sweetness and touch of tartness that goes pretty well with a lighter, crisp wheat backing. Nothing special, but not bad.

Poured a cloudy orange color with aromas of light bread, tart medicinal cherries, a touch of lemon and some grain. Flavors were light wheat and medicinal cherries, kind if disappointed in this thought there would be better cherry flavor and was not overpowering, but for this beer the tart and fake cherry flavor was a little too much.

Lightly sweet cherry flavor with a tad bit of stickyness. Not a great body tho and little to no lacing
