12oz bottle from Xroads. Poured a thinner bodied blackish body with a smaller super light beige head. Aroma of coffee hazelnut coffee, dark toast, light cream. Body is a little thin with super tight bubbly carbonation and a bitter finish. Flavor is more of a bitter cold pressed old coffee with a side of dark toast. If you want a breakfast beer stick with the original. katrinaez (2177) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2015
Nice bitter taste and rich. Some coffee and cocoa. Not heavy. Nice mouth. Nitro tap and nice. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 15, 2015
12 oz bottle served in a pint glass.
Pours near black but clear with mahogany highlights when held to the light. The tan head is rather weak and soon reduces to a ring and island.
Aroma: coffee and dark roasted malts, nicely balanced, with hints of coffee grinds, faint spices and roasted nuts.
Flavor: largely follows the aroma but the coffee is more dominant. Mild+ bitterness.
Feel: smooth, medium-full body with light but adequate carbonation. GTAEgeek (2338) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 22, 2015
16 oz. bottle, from West. Thanks, man! Pours black, with a medium, tan head. Nose is coffee, light toffee, some allspice, and syrup. Very sweet, with a light bitterness that balances well. Medium body, syrupy, and a little acrid. This is a nice, low-key, coffee forward stout. smaynard6000 (1225) - Apopka, Florida, USA - MAY 15, 2015
On tap. Black in color with small beige head. Aroma is subtly toasty. Big roasted coffee flavor. Creamy texture. Quite good.

Decent bitterness and roast coffee. Toffee and caramel flavor a. Finish is a little metallic. Everything is nice up until that part. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 21, 2015
Brought back by some WI friends. Dark brown pour with mocha head - looks a bit thin. Smell is smooth roast coffee, caramel, some minerality. Taste is some metal, oldish coffee, nutty, caramel, roast. Ok, but to be fair no bottle date and there was noticeable dust on the bottle. Aggiebob (1252) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAR 17, 2015
16 oz Bottle poured a dark black with a tin tan head. The roasted coffee and chocolate aroma is evident in the sweet cream taste. Expected a heavier body but found this to be medium and a little thin. As it warmed the flavors become more pronounced, so it is definitely one to savor. Overall, very enjoyable. majc1957 (2) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 21, 2015 does not count
This impresses me more like an Imperial Stout. The pints were a pleasant surprise. This does make its way on to my repeat list.

Tasted from a bottle. Pours black with a small amount of tan head that fades quickly. Aroma is heavily coffee. Taste is also big time coffee with some dark chocolate. Faint hint of caramel sweetness. Not to drying on the mouth. Pretty solid coffee stout.
