COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saison has a golden hue with an ample two finger head. A lemon-citrus aroma fills the nose. Brewed with Belgian specialty malts and a multitude of spices. Starts crisp citrus flavor and leaves a spicy pepper finish.

Bottle. Head is initially enormous, frothy/creamy, rocky, white, fully lasting. Body is hazy light to medium yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of coriander, orange peel, gum, candy sugar. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. What a relief this isn’t infected...gentle pours fill the entire glass with foam, even though it doesn’t gush out of the bottle at all when the cap is removed (Orval and Rayon Vert and that one batch of Moa Imperial Stout are that way too, but this is even more foamy than those). Meringue-like head reminds me of De Dolle Brouwers beers when they’re really on. The beer is nice otherwise, but the spices are too obnoxious for this to be a true saison (at first whiff I laughed to myself, thinking it smelled more like a witbier than anything). But based on this sample, even though this totally misses the mark for the style, it’s clean and pleasant, and I think there could be some potential with this brewer...would like to try other things from them.

Drank out of a bottle poured into a pint glass for a sampler, to compare a homebrew saison to this. Homebrew was better. Pours a nice clear yellow color with lots, lots of white head. Has a sour aroma too it. Not a verygood saison

Cloudy bright orange from bottle at Fahlstroms. White fluffy head. Nose is vanilla, tropical, and oranges. Taste is sweet, very tropical fruity, tangy, full flavor. Not bad at all

Undrinkable, very gassy. Actually foams up in your mouth to the point of being a choke hazard. Can’t believe anyone drinks this stuff.

Pours a cloudy/hazy golden color with white head. Raw wheat, spice, slight citrus notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little spice and bready note.

Pours a golden hazy body with a medium head. Spicy aroma. Nice and spicy aroma, maybe a little too spicy at the end. Not the typical saison but still very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle at home from notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, grass, peppery spice, some herbal character, yeast, decent but nothing is really memorable about this.

Hazy orange, loose white head. Smells like melon and pear, plus some flowery, perfumey notes. Flavors are sweet, citrusy, then some flowery notes. Dryish finish.
