500ml bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. Pours a mostly clear, golden-copper colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted, grainy, somewhat bready caramels with a light sweetness. A light, clean, floral and grassy hopping with a bit of a fruitiness. Flavor is similar. Clean, grainy, lightly sweetened bready caramels with a decent floral and grassy hopping. A light toastiness as this finishes dry with a moderate bitterness that seems a touch high before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light body with a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent Oktoberfest. Crisp and clean with a toasty, lightly sweetened, grainy caramel malt backing and a somewhat bitter, floral and grassy hopping. Not bad.

Bottle - Pours clear brown with a thin filmy off-white head. Nose is caramel, bread--pretty sweet, with a bit of sharpness. Taste is a little milky, very bready, dry--a little bitter. Tastes old. Thin and well-carbonated.

Chudwick (3205) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JAN 16, 2014
Half liter bottle - nose is caramel and yard weeds. Alsmost crisp. Hoppier than I expect from the style. Something akin to pepper in the finish. Interesting.

The beer itself is mild tasting but has a nice session flavor with the malt and mild hops. It's for the season ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint bottle shared. Orangish brown color with off white head. Nice aroma of sweet malt. Has a good solid malt backbone. Get some hop action on the back end. Don’t feel this is overly hopped. But does have a smooth finish. Almost cloyingly sweet on the back end. Pretty decent for Oktoberfest.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2011 Bottle. Pours an orange copper with a small fine frothy white head. Aroma is fresh and floral, some light bread, slight malt sourness, well balanced, excellent. Flavor follows, medium sweetness, floral hops, light bread and sour dough, an excellent drinker, very well balanced and fresh, nice hop presence. Medium bodied, smaller fine sizzling carbonation, easy to drink and very tasty.

16 oz bottle. Deep amber orange. Decent malt nose and slight noble hop aroma. Taste is far too sweet/caramel for the style.
