COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our traditional, all-natural full-bodied Hirter 1270er is a delicious interplay between ancient recipes and modern-day tastes. Its characteristic color is due to the gently roasted, caramelized brewing malt.

The water of the Hanslbauer spring and the prolonged maturation time make the Hirter 1270er a GMO-free, non-pasteurized and all-natural beer specialty.

Its delicately balanced, malty flavor, which is enhanced by the subtly integrated carbonic acid structure, is due to the use of the purest aromatic hops, paired with caramelized brewing malt. The Hirter 1270er treats beer lovers to a crisp, full-bodied burst of aroma. 11.9°

From tap. Clear, dark amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is lightly malty - sweet bread, caramel - and lightly yeasty. Medium body with a light to medium sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is malty with dried fruits, some caramel, bread, pear and hints of coffee.

Icedwarf (1728) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2017
Licht roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en ietwat kruidig met sporen van karamel, chocolade en rozijn. Verrassend goed.

AMber with little white head. Aroma is green apple, toasty malt, wheat. Taste is sour juicy citrus with some hoppy stuff and bitter malt. Sparkly on the tongue. Finish of bitter alcohol and sour juice. Ok.

klukas (309) - Rijeka, CROATIA - FEB 8, 2017
Enjoyed: On tap (into a mug; Me Gusta Gourmet Pub in Rijeka) Appearance: Clear red copper colour, with lively small but steady head. Aroma: Barley, malt. Palate: Medium to full body, with perfect medium carbonation. Taste: Bread, grains, gentle bitter with bitterish aftertaste. Overall impression: Very tasty and enjoyable, which is not surprising from this brewery. Real beer, like beer used to be.

herrklemann (386) - Graz, AUSTRIA - DEC 4, 2016
Bottle. Clear, deep amber liquid, decent white head. Aroma of rather ripe fruit (almost fermenting apricot), candied orange zests, dark cane sugar, slightly spicy hops. Taste is lightly sweet, turns mildly bitter and finishes with a light sourness. Oily medium body, soft carbonation. Lasting soft bitterness.
Well balanced and smooth, just lightly sweet, nice herbal and fruit notes. A very good amber lager.

Clear reddish colour with lasting head. Has a light sweetness. A touch of red fruit and caramel. Lacking in depth and complexity though.

Wendigo (609) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 26, 2016
0.33l bottle. Plums and raisins aroma. Deep but clear amber color with low beige head. Taste is malty with caramel notes and small flowers traces. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and light malty and bitter finish. This one is not bad, but did not impress me.

Warm day after a long trail run and swim in lake bled...probably skews my rating, but I thought this was a nice piss lager. Had some hoppiness and a decent flavorful character ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
