COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our traditional, all-natural full-bodied Hirter 1270er is a delicious interplay between ancient recipes and modern-day tastes. Its characteristic color is due to the gently roasted, caramelized brewing malt.

The water of the Hanslbauer spring and the prolonged maturation time make the Hirter 1270er a GMO-free, non-pasteurized and all-natural beer specialty.

Its delicately balanced, malty flavor, which is enhanced by the subtly integrated carbonic acid structure, is due to the use of the purest aromatic hops, paired with caramelized brewing malt. The Hirter 1270er treats beer lovers to a crisp, full-bodied burst of aroma. 11.9°

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris_O’s Ha Ha Ha Ha Gimme the Cheese Tasting.
Rich amber with a rapidly dissipating head. Plenty of sharp bitter hops offset by yeasty notes. Slight caramel sweetness and spice. A reasonable vienna.

5/10/10. On tap in a pint glass. The aroma is creamy caramel lager. The flavor is sweet cream, caramel, lager yeast, and some brown roasted malt.

[Bottle] On sale at the store as a single undated bottle. A nice layer of dust suggested it has been sitting around for a while though. Pours a light copper color with a quickly receding off white head. Light and malty aroma includes some caramel and grains. Toffee, sticky caramel, breakfast rolls and surprising hop finish. A tad sweet, but the hops keep it in check for the most part. Could have had a slightly thicker mouthfeel, but it’s not bad.

tomciccateri (1035) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - DEC 24, 2011
On draught at Irish style pub in Vienna. Pours a dark amber with lasting tan head. Medium body. Sligj caramel flavor. Even dry/sweet malty flavor. Slightly dry finish. Fairly clean. Ok.

Clear deep amber color, average size white head. Lots of lacing. Medium body, lively carbonation. Aroma of red fruits, raspberries, malt. Taste is similar. Nice enough.

Clear reddish colour with lasting head. Has a light sweetness. A touch of red fruit and caramel. Lacking in depth and complexity though.

PowY (1043) - AUSTRIA - JUN 23, 2017
From tap. Clear, dark amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is lightly malty - sweet bread, caramel - and lightly yeasty. Medium body with a light to medium sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is malty with dried fruits, some caramel, bread, pear and hints of coffee.
