COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our long tradition has taught us how to brew particularly natural, “untreated” beers. With the Hirter Biobier, we have taken the idea of natural beer products one step further.

Based on the soft mountain spring water of the Hanslbauer spring, the Hirter Biobier is GMO-free, non-pasteurized and entirely natural and was Austria’s first organic beer back in 1998. All used raw materials are exclusively sourced from Austrian organic farms, so it’s no wonder that the Hirter Biobier obtains a distinctively mellow, fruity and easy-to-drink character. Its outstanding flavor is enhanced even further by a mild carbonic acid structure. 11.6°

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2007 Ennesima lager noiosissima di fattura tedesca anche se austriaca; mai come certe porcherie che si bevono qua in Italia, ma sicuramente non una cosa enorme. Bottiglia da 50cl all’Ipercoop.________ENGLISH TEXT HERE_______The nth boring German lager even if brewed in Austria; not disgusting but not great indeed. 50cl bottle bought at the Ipercoop.

A pale appearance with slight malty aromas. Slightly sweet, dry and citrusy. Quite thin and light but very pleasant for an organic beer.

CEZ (414) - Milano, ITALY - APR 15, 2004
Deep gold. This one pours almost no head. Good malty aroma. The taste is rich with malt, but it's not balanced by a real bitterness or hoppiness. A metallic note in the finish. Medium body. A flat beer.
