COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our long tradition has taught us how to brew particularly natural, “untreated” beers. With the Hirter Biobier, we have taken the idea of natural beer products one step further.

Based on the soft mountain spring water of the Hanslbauer spring, the Hirter Biobier is GMO-free, non-pasteurized and entirely natural and was Austria’s first organic beer back in 1998. All used raw materials are exclusively sourced from Austrian organic farms, so it’s no wonder that the Hirter Biobier obtains a distinctively mellow, fruity and easy-to-drink character. Its outstanding flavor is enhanced even further by a mild carbonic acid structure. 11.6°

anstei (2610) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - APR 3, 2017
Bottle at Erzbierschof MC. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma is pleasantly malty but also with clear hops. Body is light, short, but also a tad sour, low carbonation and a bit oily. Rather thin. Okay, nothing really off.

Dorqui (2261) - Brescia, ITALY - FEB 3, 2005
Short and evanescent foam, little long-lasting. Light malty scent. Nothing of particular. Limpid yellow color; little fizzy and medium bitter.

2.6
Kita (2247) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JAN 11, 2014
Bottled, 0,50l. Courtesy of CanCrusher, thanks! Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head. nice lacing and flat visible carbonation in palate. Aroma is grainy, grassy, vegetably, dusty with light notes of caramel and vanilla. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, follows a bit spicy and grassy sour with surprisingly warming mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Only natural ingredients makes it more desirable :) In fact, it’s pretty good lager, regardless its bio qualities...

2.7
Icedwarf (1804) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAY 24, 2017
Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van gras en hooi. Best goed te drinken met een mooie zachte smaak..

LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - NOV 10, 2007
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2007 Ennesima lager noiosissima di fattura tedesca anche se austriaca; mai come certe porcherie che si bevono qua in Italia, ma sicuramente non una cosa enorme. Bottiglia da 50cl all’Ipercoop.________ENGLISH TEXT HERE_______The nth boring German lager even if brewed in Austria; not disgusting but not great indeed. 50cl bottle bought at the Ipercoop.

CanCrusher (1118) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle. Clear golden-yellow colour with lively carbonation and small white head, that sits down slowly. Weak aroma, mostly of barley and corn. Flavor is bitter light and it goes to moderate bitter in the aftertaste. Light bodied, watery, drinkable.
