Dark, reddish amber color and minimal head. The body was light and slick. The flavor had notes of malty sweetness. Kita (2145) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 29, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with large creamy light brown head that lasts quite long, pretty good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, heavy toasted malt, chocolate, light herbal hops and hints of lemongrass. Taste starts with light sweet malt, not very rich, then followed by toasted notes and moderate grassy or herbal acidity. After a while strong toasted malty character bursts out, in the end is balanced with moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is spicy, finish is long and bitter. Medium body, oily texture and almost flat carbonation in palate. Soon after first few disappointingly plain sips, general picture was turned upside down, happy ending reached... cubs (10634) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Bottle in Minneapolis picked up in KC. Pours a dark brown appearance with a thin light brown head. Somewhat nutty, rich caramel, a big herbal nose. Candy caramel, chocolate, a bit nutty flavor. Not super fresh but alright. dinkle50 (1477) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2013

Black-brown with thin tan head. Caramel, mild roast, and mild fruit aroma. Medium bodied, syrupy, malt dominant with mild hop notes. Decent balance and dry notes on the finish.

Dark brown-teak with fluffy cream head. Chocolate nose, medium body, light carbonation, high residual sweetness but balancing malt astringency and hop dryness. Nice.
The color of the beer is a reddish brown with a thick off-white head, and the aroma is strongly of roasted chocolate malts, fig, and dough. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly umami, but the palate fuses a soft carbonation, an astringent yet abrupt finish, medium body, and a creamy texture. Dark brown with tan head. Smells of caramel. Taste of caramel and a bit raisen. Reminds me of Germany. Yes, I know it is from Austria. TheArgoPirate (113) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 20, 2013
