3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a dark reddish-brown color with a thin small bead head that coats the glass somewhat. Smooth sweet caramely taste with some (but not much) hops. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 500 ml. euro brown bottle with a best before date, 20.12.06, on the back label.
Poured a deep Coke Cola brown with a small off-white/beige head that settled into a thin lacing.
Aromas of toasted grains and roasted coffee malts with a light fruitiness.
Moderate carbonation and a crisp, slick and smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel.
Very tasty, a sweet caramel toffee and a roasted coffee, a soft fruitiness, a light spiciness from the hops, a little caramelized sugary towards the end and a sweet roasted malty finish.
I didn’t know what to expect when I picked this up, but this dunkel lager was flavorful and well balanced, quite quaffable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Strong nose of licorice and soy sauce which initially dominates. The flavour mellows once it warmed up and had chocolate, licorice, soy, dark fruits and pudding. Sweet mouthfeel. A sort of love-hate relationship with this one. It really opened up and changed in the glass. Interesting beer.

Dark brown with tan head. Smells of caramel. Taste of caramel and a bit raisen. Reminds me of Germany. Yes, I know it is from Austria.

Thanks rateyourpoison for sharing. Pours a deep brown with a small creamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet and chocolate malty, a bit nutty, a touch fruity with some caramel candy notes. Flavor is again very sweet and malt, cocoa and a hint of coffee though there is very limited bitterness. Some dark fruit and a bit of cola. Medium slightly creamy body and a soft carbonation. Tasty dunkel
