UPDATED: AUG 26, 2012 This is one of my favorite beers. It is best on tap. Very good aroma and taste. Goes great with a pizza. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 21, 2014
An exceptional dunkel. Dark brown, light roasted body. Easy drinking with a sweet aftertaste. Tried with Jess at the Grunauer in KC in 2014. 16erBlech (524) - Burgenland, AUSTRIA - JAN 18, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 0,5l bottle. Yes thats probably the best Dunkles you can get in Austria. Outstanding drinkability for a Dunkles.
Edit: I had this beer several times in the last months and it is still growing. I really like the light roasty aroma and taste, followed by a bittersweet finish. For sure the best Dunkles I had so far. Martyn (15) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2005
Rather malty aroma with a descrete hoppines. Initially presents quite dry with a medium sweetness and a genlte bitterness left on the palate. wlajwl (6817) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 16, 2011
In aroma this is very heavy on the toffee and caramel, a good sign. The flavor is similar to the aroma with a good palate. Among the best dunkels out there.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish brown with a tan head. Taste carmel, nut, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

Poured into a tall 0.5 liter glass stein. Copper to brown colored with two fingers of fluffy off-white head.
Rich smelling malt, pepper, barley and slight citrus.
Rich tasting also. Sweet and malty, a bit chewy, almost no carbonation, and a touch of bitter. At the end it has a watery taste where the dominate flavors quickly fall off.
Very enjoyable. Looks amazing and smelled and tasted great. Tough to beat. rubbishystuff (2538) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2015 A very nice dunkel. Rich and malty. A little bit toasty and roasty, but mostly yummy. I am pleased. Serving: Bottle and tap mzaar (3463) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUN 5, 2011
Probably the best beer... No, it´s not. But it is a very, very good dark beer. Caramel and fruits. And also nice to look at with a big head. I should have bought some bottles back home.
