COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hirter Kräuterradler is all about the natural flavors of its home region. It consists of one part Hirter Vollbier, which has won numerous awards, and one part refreshing herbal lemonade, the precise composition of which shall remain our little secret! We will only give this much away: in addition to Alpine Gentian and sage, regionally sourced elderberry also plays a pivotal role in this delicious recipe! The flavor is further enhanced by coriander and ginger, which incidentally is often claimed to be a natural aphrodisiac!

As with all Hirter beer specialties, our Kräuterradler is brewed using the soft mountain spring water of the Hanslbauer spring in the water protection area directly opposite the brewery. GMO-free, without any artificial sugars and non-pasteurized, the Hirter Kräuterradler is an all-natural delicacy. Even the used carbonic acid is a natural by-product of the brewing process! The full-bodied, tart and fruity flavors of the finest herbs make the Hirter Kräuterradler so distinctive. 11.2°

Looks like watery beer. Aroma is herbs, lemon and some malty stuff. Taste is sweet sugary citrus with some herbs and a slight bitter dusty touch in the finish. Watery but drinkable. It is mostly lemonade but good.

Bottle. Whew. This is one sugary sweet beer. Clear gold in Color with hardly any head. Aroma is grass, grains and some kind of fruity herbs with a tad of skunk thrown in. Taste is just sweet with a light touch of skunk up front.

tmoreau (4290) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2016
Shared 11.2 oz. green bottle poured to snifters, displaying a clear, straw color, with a modest, diminishing layer of soft white head foam, and light spots of lacing. The nose was grassy, weedy, herbal, and sweet. Light bodied, fair carbonation, somewhat thin, light lemonade, and over the top sweetness.

Pours a hazy pale yellow color, topped with an average sized frothy head that quickly settles down. Sweet citrusy aroma with some very mild herbal notes. Taste is sweet, a bit sugary and fruity, with some bittery herbs. Not the worst one, but still nothing special.

330 ml bottle. BB 31/10/14. (Merkur) Seiersberg, Austria.
Hazy pale yellow colour with a mid-size foamy white head. Some herbs, mild citrus, tea leaves and earth in the aroma. The flavour is sweetish malt, citrus and some herbs. Not exactly my cup of tea.
