Growler fill from 4 Sons on Indian School. Deep dark pour with a thin off white head. Very much as promised with a full vanilla and cherry aroma. Sweet cherry flavor and light roasted malt flavor make this taste creamy like a desert unto itself. It doesn't have much of a thick or lingering mouthfeel though so unlike many fruit beers, especially dark ones, this one is easy to finish more than a glass of. Definitely worth a try.

Tap at Historic brewpub in Williams AZ. Pours near black with a tan head. Aroma was chocolate, pecan pie, nuts, vanilla. Taste was sweet, nutty, dark fruits, roasted coffee, cocoa. jonrachael (2) - - MAY 15, 2017 does not count
Pours black as used motor oil with abundant light tan foam head which dissipates quickly. This pint is a meal in itself. Heavy thick chocolate with a hint of espresso bean.

A deep dark porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with light dark fruits, chocolate cake, pleasant. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with powdery character, light coffee, nutty notes, nice. if a bit dry. On tap at brewery Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 27, 2016
32oz growler pours with a clear deep amber mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, some chocolate, nuttiness and then a vanilla bean note at the end of the draw. The taste delivers mild dark roasted malts, bigger chocolate notes, a light nutty sensation and then a smooth vanilla sweetness. To midway and into the finish it picks up a mild hazelnut sort of coconut character wrapped around a thin sweet dark fruitiness. Pretty nice. Arthree (50) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 9, 2016
Sample at OHSO. Dark amber pour, although it’s hard to tell colour with the lights turned down in here. Tan lace lingers. Smells like milk chocolate and cherries, very appetizing. Flavour is like a black forest cake. I have to stop writing this to finish the beer... omg

Draft. Deep maroon color, medium tan head. Aroma of roasty chocolate covered cherries. Taste is sweet but not too sweet, cocoa, fruit. Nice. slowrunner77 (13191) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Delicious blend of smooth porter, sweet and tart cherry, and smooth vanilla. They hit each just right. At turns decadent, refreshing and complex. dwyerpg (6493) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 24, 2015
It smells like white chocolate has some cherry flavor not too sweet which is good. overall it decent border but not really my style PartyFowle (954) - - MAY 20, 2015
Nitro pour. Dark chocolate in color and opacity, with a pancake batter head. Aroma is cocoa powder, toasted marshmallow, tart cherry. Flavor is more muted, with the smooth marshmallow offsetting slightly more acidic cherry. Very chuggable beer. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAR 22, 2015
A big hit at our party, but I thought it was too much -- too much cherry, and too much vanilla. If they dialed it back just a little bit . . . .
